ALLTRAIN Transform + Maintain Challenge – $25,000

You Can’t Escape the Truth(s)

I recently put together a Transformation Challenge program that had $25,000.00 up for grabs.  I’ve implemented these types of challenges previously, as a matter of fact, seven of them under one of my older brands, SWIF ATHLETICS and the CEO Challenge.  Alpha male and females would get together, committing to the challenge and throwing in an extra wager of $1000 each, for winner take all (half in their pocket, half to their favorite charity) in a transformation contest based on parameters such as strength, functional movement, power, body composition, and more.  Inevitably, we would see some great transformations, with scores in these parameters shooting up through the roof, fat losses up to 40 lbs., and impressive increases in lean mass in such a short period.  But there was only one problem.  These were alpha males and females, who could set their mind to anything for 13 weeks as they are competitive alphas and were used to winning, particularly in businesses or careers.  But once the challenge was complete, we’d unfortunately see a few digress back to their old habits rather quickly, and even a couple of our top performers sliding all the way back to their starting points.  Needless to mention, this became a bit of an issue as it didn’t reflect my brand very well.

So, with my new ALLTRAIN brand, I decided to put a bit more emphasis on maintaining this transformation and you’d think I put some firecrackers in folks’ britches.  “That’s just ridiculously too long”, “What’s he thinking”, “That’s just unrealistic”, and the best one, “We’ll do our own bro challenge”.  Geez, am I way over the top to ask someone to transform a bit over a 13-week period, and then ask them to maintain this transformation over another 13-week period in hopes this transformation would become the norm rather than a fleeting moment?  To ask someone to be convicted during “Fat Tuesday”, the celebratory St. Patrick’s Day, up through Memorial Day weekend.  And then add on this discipline thru the challenging summer months with Independence Day, vacations, golf upon golf events, weddings, graduations, picnics and more? Is this simply extreme on my part to design a program that expects the participant to pass on gluttonous activity for an additional 13 weeks after they’ve already “sacrificed” so much for the first 13 weeks?   Am I too excessive with a program of such length, where the participant is asked to train for a total of 4 hours per week in a strategic, safe and sustainable manner, eat ample amounts of food that Mother Nature provides us in a plain and simple fashion, and apply other stress reducing strategies?  Am I simply irrational to suggest giving up the normal gluttonous behaviors that these three months are usually equated with?

Yes, you are right, please forgive me for these unrealistic expectations… I’m hideous ☹

P.S. For you sissy arses who ridicule the program, yet will continue on with your overweight and oblivious selves…good luck with that…bro👎
